Wanda Duong DTCM, R.Ac., B.Sc. Biography
Wanda was introduced to Chinese medicine at a young age in which Chinese medicine modalities were often used in her family to encourage healing. With an interest in health and sciences, she completed her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences through the University of Calgary. The field of natural, alternative medicine became more known to her upon completion of her diploma in natural nutrition through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.
As a graduate of the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Wanda has developed a passion for health and wellness. She is able to utilize acupuncture, cupping, gua-sha (scraping), tui-na (massage), moxibustion, auricular therapy (including acu-detox.), diet therapy, and herbal supplementation for preventative health, healing, and balance. Wanda is registered with the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta.
Maintaining a balanced, healthy, and active lifestyle is important for Wanda. During the spring and summer months, she enjoys paddling and competing as a dragon boat member. She is family orientated and loves her dogs. She enjoys traveling and has a passion for painting and music.
